History of Red Hot Rhythm's Corporate Entertainment Acts: The idea for Red Hot Rhythm originated in 2006 with the aim of providing a new and original tap dance concept for the Queensland corporate entertainment market, in recognition of the lack of local, high quality dancers for hire in this area of corporate entertainment. An added objective was to give Queensland based dancers for hire a home, and encourage them to assist in the development of the local arts, and corporate entertainment scene. As a result of this vision, the group was formed in early 2007. What began as 1 dancer for hire quickly became 7 dancers for hire as the group gained momentum in the corporate entertainment sector. With a successful government funding application, an increasingly impressive list of corporate entertainment performances, and the current troupe of 10 dancers for hire, including tap dancers, Irish dancers and a range of musicians, Red Hot Rhythm has become a leading force in the Queensland tap-dance industry. The company has always aimed to push the boundaries of tap dance in Australia through experimentation with the art form in new and unique ways.
